Daphna Ross, PT, PRPC, WCS

Board Certified Specialist in Women's Health and Pelvic Rehabilitation

Daphna has been practicing as a physical therapist for over 25 years.  She has extensive experience in acute care, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and orthopedics working at prestigious institutions including St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center in New York City and McGill University Medical Center in Montreal, Canada.  She is licensed in New York, California and Quebec.

 

For the past 14 years, she has dedicated herself to Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, finding physical therapy treatments in this area to be incredibly effective and life changing.  She believes strongly in evidence based treatments and providing excellent, patient-centric care.  She holds dual board certifications as both a Women's Health Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.  Daphna developed the Pelvic Physical Therapy Program for the Alta Bates Summit Women's Health Center where she worked as lead therapist for 8 years before opening up her own practice.  She also served as a pelvic physical therapy instructor for The Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, teaching pelvic rehabilitation courses to healthcare professionals.

Daphna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Women's Health Section and Private Practice Section, International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH)  and the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS).

She is committed to providing excellent care in a warm, nurturing environment.
